Bob Verhelst graduated in 1979 from the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy in Antwerp where he studied with fashion-icons such as Ann Demeulemeester and Dries Van Noten. He specialized in theater costumes in Poland and continued his studies at the private school Ente Morale in Rome where he graduated in fashion and theater costumes.
Ever since Bob Verhelst is a renowned art director and designer who has worked for various projects in the interior design and art industries. His ability to create visually appealing spaces is what defines his reputation. He collaborated closely with Maison Martin Margiela in Paris, worked for Cartier, Hermès, Victor&Rolf and many more. As a scenographer he had designed many exhibitions for museums in Belgium and abroad, MoMu (Antwerp), Musée des Arts décoratifs (Paris), Landesmuseum (Zürich) to name a few.
He is fond of new challenges and working with Serax and N. Vrouyr is definitely one of them!
