Since 1978, Ecart International has been reissuing furniture, lighting and heritage objects from the early twentieth century, saved from oblivion by the desire to make known these designers who have now become classics: Eileen Gray, Jean-Michel Frank and Adolphe Chanaux, Pierre Chareau, Michel Dufet, Mariano Fortuny...
The manufacture of all its seating collections, furniture and lighting is French. The carpets are hand-knotted in Nepal.

Eileen Gray was born in Ireland and studied drawing and the technique of oriental lacquer in London and Paris where she exhibited her works for the first time in 1913.
